Avenue

If you're desperate, as we were having taken 2½ hours to drive
our 20 mile car journey through Brixton into central London, and
find yourself on Maida Vale then you could do worse than
Avenue on Formosa Street. A friend of ours, who knows about
these sorts of things, intoned that the rich and famous are
arriving in St John's Wood by the Limousine-full . Be this as it
may, rich, famous or NOTA, you can expect some good cakes
and an exciting array of cold juices, squashes and smoothies. If
you recover in time for afternoon tea, though, you'll need head
into the West End to get a decent cuppa.
